Colonial SHUR SNAP 4th Gen Bowtie Yellow Vintage switchblade knife

Vintage Shur Snap 4th generation bowtie switchblade with yellow synthetic scales made by the Colonial Knife Co of Providence, RI in the late 1950s (likely 1956-58). It measures 4 inches closed and 7.25 inches open and has brass liners and non magnetic metal button. The tang is stamped SHUR SNAP over Colonial over PROV USA. We can tell it's a later 4th gen knife by the large domed button. The blade is mostly full and has heavy patina, scattered light scratches and some spotting, but good blade overall. The scales are in good condition with no shrinkage and some light handling marks. Operates well with blade tip sitting deep and centered closed, good snap and very good lockup for a used Shur Snap with less than 1/16 inch up and down at the tip. The knife does Not rattle if shaken. Safety works. VG+ condition.
