Press Button Knife Co Medium double bone Etched NOTREVO

This is a Press Button Knife Co medium double with a blade etch. This knife was made in Walden, NY sometime between 1892 and 1923. It was designated the model #100 and measures 3 3/8" closed and 7 inches with both blades open. It is the medium of three sizes of switchblade doubles made by the company. The blades are both nearly full with original factory finish. The both blades are marked PRESS BUTTON KNIFE CO WALDEN NY. The large blade is etched NOTREVO and though light, is fully legible. There are no patent numbers which means it was likely made between 1913 and 1923. The jigged bone scales are beautiful and in excellent condition with no cracks. The knife works great with both blade tips at, or below the liners closed, good snap and good lockup. Slight kickback on small blade, but locks tight when pushed into the full open position.
