Vintage 1950s 20cm Italian picklock automatic knife

1950s vintage Italian 20cm picklock switchblade, unmarked. This knife has a lot of Character and really shows it's age. It measures 20cm (8 inches) open and has brass liners and nickel silver bolsters, button and safety cap. The bayonet style blade is sterile (unmarked) with a little loss from sharpening (about 92% full) and heavy patina, some spotting and pitting. Definitely looks like a 60+ year old switchblade that has been "well loved" and used. The horn scales range from black to green to cream and are in very good condition with one bug bite on the rear scale by the top bolster and some scratches and handling marks. Works well with blade tip seating just below the liners, opens fully and fair lockup with a little movement each way. Safety works. Would make a good EDC (every day carry), or displayed in full character as the wonderful old Italian picklock that it is! You can just FEEL the history in this knife.
