C JUL HERBERTZ IMPORT 21cm Italian Transitional Pearlex Stiletto switchblade NOS Red Dot

Vintage C JUL HERBERTZ IMPORT 21cm Italian Transitional Pearlex Stiletto switchblade knife. The knife is part of a group of old Herbertz switchblades found recently in Italy that had been in storage for over 50 years. It's basically New Old Stock, but the person who found these knives in Italy installed springs in a couple of them including this one. The spring works well, but it's obvious that it's not original when you look at the spring. The knife measures 20.4cm (8 inches) open with D stamped brass liners and nickel silver bolsters, button and safety cap and Red Dot safety. The flat swedge grind blade is 100% full with all of the factory finish intact and the ricasso is stamped C JUL HERBERTZ IMPORT on the front and ROSTFREI on the rear. The Pearlex (imitation pearl) scales are Beautiful and in great condition with a few tiny scratches from handling/storage and a little rough area by the button. The knife works great with the blade tip below liners when closed, strong snap and TIGHT lockup open. Safety works. NOS with aftermarket spring condition.
