SHAPLEIGH H.D.W. CO D.E. 3 3/4" Large double Full bolster Ivory Cell automatic knife

Antique SHAPLEIGH H.D.W. CO D-E large 3 3/4" vintage double Ivory celluloid with full bolsters made by the Schrade Cutlery Co of Walden, NY under contract for Shapleigh Hardware Co. The knife measures 3 3/4" closed and 8 3/16" open with brass liners and nickel silver bolsters, buttons and safeties. Clip/pen blade combo with both blades at 97% full, or better and in very nice condition with light scratches and a few scattered pit spots. Clip blade stamped SHAPLEIGH H.D.W. CO D-E and the pen blade stamped US PATS DEC 21, 09, SEPT 13, 10 & JUNE 6, 16. The Ivory Celluloid scales are in very good condition with one pin crack through center pin on back scale and a few tiny cracks along the edge of the front scale and an imperfection above the button on front. The knife works great with both blade tips below liners closed, good snap and very good lockup open with a little movement each way at both tips within average for used knife. Both Safeties work.
