Presto MADE IN USA Vintage Paratrooper style Hunter Metal switchblade w lanyard

Vintage Presto MADE IN USA Vintage Paratrooper style Hunter Metal switchblade w lanyard ring & painted black metal handles. It was made by the Geo Schrade Knife Co of Bridgeport, CT sometime between 1929 and 1955. It's the largest model that they offered measuring 5 inches closed and 8 3/4 inches open with steel liners, button & safety. The blade is 98% full or better with most of the original finish with light scratches and some light spotting and the tang is stamped PRESTO MADE IN USA and the backside is marked GEO SCHRADE BRIDGEPORT CONN. The painted metal scales are in good condition with most of the original black paint intact. The knife functions well with the blade tip deep and centered in the well closed, good snap and very good lockup with about 1/16" up and down at the tip. Knife barely rattles if shaken with blade open.  Safety works. VG+ condition.
