Gorgeous vintage Imperial toothpick style switchblade made in Providence, RI in the 1950s by the Imperial Knife Co. This knife measures 4.25 inches closed and just 7 5/8 inches open and has steel liners. The scales are hollow metal and are wrapped in beautiful Gold Foil candystripe material that's like new. The blade is 100% full with All of the original factory finish and is marked Imperial PROV USA on the front and the back is marked with 3 patent numbers ending in 537, 833 and 400. The knife works perfectly! Blade tip seats deep, opens with a loud thwak and locks open TIGHT, just like New! Safety works. This is nearly a new knife other than a couple of signs that the knife has been opened and closed a few times and a little light spotting over the patent numbers on the back that looks worse in the pics than in real life.
