Edgemaster fishtail with green synthetic scales and bolsters made by the Federal Knife Co of Providence, RI in the late 40s, or early 1950s. This knife measures 4 inches closed and 7 1/8" open with brass liners. The blade is nearly full and shiny with some scattered light rust specs and is stamped Edgemaster USA. The bright green scales are in great condition with a little shrinkage, which is common with these 70 year old knives. The knife functions good with blade tip seating even with the liners closed, good snap and locks open with some movement each way with approx 1/8" up and down. The knife does not rattle if shaken when open as most of these old 50s American switchblades do that have seen use. The safety works.
