Sterile 23cm Italian Picklock Vintage French Tip Buffalo Horn automatic knife

Vintage Sterile 23cm Italian Picklock French Tip Buffalo Horn automatic knife measures 22.6cm (8.9 inches) open and 4 7/8 inches closed with non-D stamped brass liners, nickel silver bolsters, button and safety cap. The bayonet blade is 98% or better and has been professionally cleaned at some point, which is probably why there is no stamp on the ricasso. The stamps are often lost in cleaning, especially if there was any pitting that had to be removed. The genuine buffalo horn scales appear to be French Tip horn, which is special and harder to obtain with beautiful blond horn with brown streaking an in great condition. The knife works well with blade tip below the liners closed, good snap and very good lockup with less than 1/16" movement at the tip. Does not rattle if shaken with blade open. Safety works. EX cleaned condition.
