The knife measures 4 1\/4 inches closed and 7 1\/4 inches open with steel liners and bolsters and nickel silver button and safety. The clip blade is 98% full or better and shiny and the tang is stamped SHAPLEIGH HDW CO around a diamond shape with letters DE inside (Diamond Edge trademark). The jigged bone scales are in good condition with two small chips out of the back scale below the bolster and one hairline crack between button \u0026amp; safety. The knife works well with blade tip below liners closed, good snap and average lockup with less than 1\/8\" up and down and a bit of side to side at the tip. Rattles if shaken with blade open as most of these 100 year old switchblades do.
