The clip point blade is 95% full with scattered light pitting and is stamped SCHRADE CUT CO WALDEN NY on the front tang and US PATS DEC 21, 09, SEPT 13, 10 \u0026amp; JUNE 6, 16. Someone has done a little cleaning\/polishing on the blade, bolsters and lanyard ring, but otherwise an original knife that has seen a lot of use over the past 80 years. The jigged bone scales are in excellent condition. The knife works great with the blade tip well below the liners closed, strong snap and good lockup open with about 1\/8\" up and down and a little side to side at the tip. Does rattle if shaken with blade open as most of these do that have seen use over the years. Safety works.
