RPK 20cm Russian Colorful Tropical Bird Vintage Switchblade Comb

Vintage RPK 20cm Russian Colorful Tropical Bird Switchblade Comb. It is believed that these knives were made by inmates of Russian prisons back in the 1960s and 70s to be sold to raise capital for the prisons. They are all hand made and very unique and beautiful pieces of Russian cutlery Folk Art. The steel comb/blade appears to be aluminum and has the word NEDERLAND. (This knife did come from Russia.) The scales and frame are in the shape of a tropical bird and are very colorful with clear acrylic covering and in wonderful condition. The knife/comb works great with blade seating deep, smooth snap and stays in open position, but does not lock so you can push it closed without pressing the button. EX+ condition.
