The clip blade is 100% full with original finish and is gorgeous with the ricasso stamped Rostfrei on both the front as well as the backside. The handles (scales) are very attractive smooth Stag yellowed with age and in excellent condition with a Winchester 30-30 casing base as a shield. The knife works fine with blade opening by flipping the One piece knob on the front side of the knife. Takes some practice, but cool design. This knife is not spring activated, or spring assisted. Just a nice manual knife. The blade does lock open and you have to push the knob forward to release the blade to be closed.
