The flat swedge blade is 99% full, or better with original finish and some very light scratches and the ricasso is stamped ROSTFREI with KISSING CRANE image and the reverse is stamped PATENT. The stag is thick \u0026amp; gorgeous with tons of character and no cracks. The knife works great with blade tip deep \u0026amp; centered closed, strong, smooth snap and excellent lockup with about 1\/16\" movement at the tip open. Does rattle if shaken with blade open as most of these do after being used for years. This is a Humpback (backspring release) to close and the blade is fired by a coil spring. The knife shows signs of age with darkening and pitting on the backspring and hump release as well as on the underside of the backspring, but overall in great condition. Safety works.
