The scales (handles) are synthetic imitation horn in black, gray \u0026amp; tan and in excellent condition. The knife works well with blade tip just below the liners closed, good snap and good lockup open with about 1\/16\" movement each way at the tip. Does rattle if shaken with blade open. Safety does not work.
