Both scales have raised letter stamp at the bottom (back) that reads \"BREVETE SGDG MADE IN FRANCE\". The knife works Great, backwards, but Great with blade opening fully and locking when you \"PULL\" the button back and closes completely when you \"PUSH\" it forward.
