The knife measures 3 3\/8\" closed and 6 3\/4 inches with both blades open and has brass liners and nickel silver buttons. It is the middle one of three sizes of switchblade doubles made by the company. The spear\/pen blades both have loss from sharpening over the years and heavy patina and some scattered pitting at about 94% full or better. Both blades are marked PRESS BUTTON KNIFE CO WALDEN NY on the front of the tangs and backsides stamped US PAT 470605 so likely made before 1913. The smooth ivory celluloid scales are in good condition with some handling and a little damage by one pin with some age discoloring with advertising: \"White Mountain Refrigerators\" on the back and \"The Chest With the Chill in it\" on the front (large blade) side. The knife works well with both blade tips below the liners closed, good snap and good lockup with some movement at the tips., Slight rattle if shaken with blades open.
