The Pearlex synthetic scales are gorgeous with some light handling marks and Red dot safety. The knife works well with the blade tip below the liners when closed, strong snap and tight lockup open. No rattle if shaken with blade open. This is a backspring release knife so you have to push down on the tab part of the backspring near the bottom bolsters to close the knife. The safety works.
