The genuine horn scales (handles) are mostly black \u0026amp; brown with nice front scale, but back scale has some shrinkage. The knife works well with the blade tip about 1\/16 inch above the liners closed, good snap and very good lockup with about 1\/16 inch movement at the tip. Does not rattle if shaken with blade open (except the ring). Shell pullers are stamped 12 on the rear and 16 on the front for 12 \u0026amp; 16 gauge shotgun shells. Safety works.
