These flat guard versions were the predecessors to most of the picklocks made in the 1950s and are rarer and harder to find. The knife measures 27.8cm (10 15\/16 inches) open and just under 6 inches closed with Non D stamped brass liners, nickel silver bolters, button and safety cap and brass pins. The bayonet style blade is 99% full or better with patina and light scratches and the ricasso is stamped Latama MADE IN ITALY. The scales (handles) are genuine horn and are mostly translucent green and black in color and in very nice condition. The knife works great with blade tip deep and centered closed, Strong snap and TIGHT lockup! Short throw safety works.
