The knife measures 4.25 inches closed and 7 5\/8 inches open and is stamped Hammer Brand USA with picture of an arm holding a hammer on the front of the tang and P 2170537 over 2281782 on the backside. The scales are hollow steel wrapped in candystripe celluloid. The blade is 98% full or better with most of the original factory finish intact with light scratches from sharpening\/use. The knife works well with blade tip below the liners when closed, opens strong and locks open with about 1\/16\" movement at the tip open. It does rattle slightly if shaken when open as nearly all of these do that have seen use. Safety works. EX- condition.
