The genuine horn scales are mostly black with just a bit of streaking on the front and are in good condition. The knife works great with blade tip deep and centered closed, strong snap and very good lockup with about 1\/32\" movement at the tip. Does not rattle if shaken with blade open. Safety works, but you have to hold it in position, or moves when you press the button.
