The knife measures 4 1\/8 inches closed and just under 7 inches open with brass liners, steel button, safety \u0026amp; lanyard ring. The blade is nearly full with the original factory finish, some light scratches and a tiny nick in the cutting edge and is marked Edgemaster in script over USA. The Yellow synthetic scales are in very good condition with some light scuffs, a little shrinkage. The knife works well with the blade tip seating deep and centered closed, good snap and very good lockup with a little movement each way (less than 1\/16 inch) as most of these old used switchblades do. It does rattle slightly if shaken with the blade open as most of these 70 year old switchblades do if they've seen any use over the years. Very nice working example of a vintage American fatjack switchblade. Safety works.
