This is a lever knife with horn and aluminum scales that was made in India, most likely in the 1960s or 70s. It measures 5.5 inches closed including the guards, and 9.75 inches open with steel liners and brass bolsters. The blade appears to be full and shiny and is marked RGN over 2445 on the front and has a pattern of dots on the back tang. The brass lever has an "A" on it and the background is painted blue. The knife works great with the very sharp blade tip well below the liners, strong snap and tight lockup! India produced many switchblades from the 1930s to the present, pretty much all hand made and most if not all had brass bolsters and levers. Some were mostly brass. Very interesting knives to collect and this is one of the nicest!
