You pick (lift) the locking tab with your thumbnail to release the blade to be closed. It measures 27.6cm (10.9 inches) open. This knife has a very full blade that sits centered in the well. The blade has heavy patina from age and some light scratches. The blade tip is even with the liners, good snap and good lockup open. The horn scales are dark with some light streaking on the front scale. Scales are in good condition with some light scuffs from handling over the years.
